Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. Her parents are from Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent within the industry of entertainment in her early years. She attended her audition in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was 13, and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. Additionally, she began to take classes in acting privately. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music as well as drama. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
